Why is some information missing for some leads?
Catchlight leverages data from multiple privacy-focused partners to enrich lead and customer profiles, and AI to surface insights. If there is not sufficient quality data available for a lead, Catchlight is not able to surface enriched data nor provide insights. Some reasons for insufficient data may be that a lead has entered incorrect or incomplete data into a source or that data has changed about a lead including instances like moving residences. A few tips that can help up the chances of bringing back data intelligence:
- Make sure that the name and the contact information match and that there are no misspellings or mis-entries of data
- If you have multiple forms of contact information (for example, phone AND email) include both forms when adding leads
- If you have both a personal email and a business email, we recommend always using the personal email as it is more closely associated with personal consumer activities and is more likely to be associated with a given lead — the same would go for a business phone vs a personal phone
- If you have a street address available, that is often the most fruitful in terms of bringing back data — we have benchmarked the enrichment success rate for residential addresses at up to 98%-99%
